Desert Mountain has once again been certified as a 2026 Great Place to Work®, marking the fifth consecutive year the Club has earned this recognition. Based entirely on confidential teammate feedback, the certification reflects the culture we’ve built together and our ongoing commitment to making Desert Mountain an exceptional place to work.
Creating a workplace where teammates feel valued, supported, and connected is a key part of Desert Mountain’s mission. Through leadership development, recognition programs, mentorship opportunities, scholarships, wellness initiatives, volunteer events, and competitive benefits, the Club continues to invest in the people who make our success possible.
“This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from our teammates,” said Wes Pudwill, Director of Talent & Culture. “Our goal has never been to simply earn a certification. It’s to create a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work, feel supported by their leaders, and have opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.”
This year’s survey results included several notable accomplishments. The Great Place to Work® Statement — where teammates respond to the statement, “Taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work” — increased from 86% to 88%, the highest score in Club history.
The Club also saw meaningful improvements in several key areas, including:
- Looking forward to coming to work
- Professional development opportunities
- Confidence in the organization’s direction
In addition, 93% of teammates said they felt welcomed when they joined Desert Mountain, while 92% said they are proud to tell others they work here.
While the survey results are encouraging, they also provide a roadmap for continued improvement.“One of the things I’m most proud of is that we don’t treat this as a once-a-year survey,” Pudwill said. “Every department reviews its results, creates action plans, and works throughout the year to improve the teammate experience. Listening to feedback and following through on it is one of the reasons we’ve continued to strengthen our culture year after year.”
Over the past several years, Desert Mountain has continued expanding its investment in teammates through tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, mentorship programs, comprehensive health benefits, an onsite HonorHealth medical clinic, wellness initiatives, and ongoing leadership development programs.
“Our culture is built by hundreds of teammates who care about one another and take pride in what they do,” Pudwill added. “This certification is a reflection of them. Their commitment to serving our members, supporting each other, and making Desert Mountain a special place to work is what makes achievements like this possible.”
