Since its unveiling in the Spring of 2024, the new Bark Park has quickly become a popular addition to our community.

Desert Mountain is home to a wide variety of family activities and amenities, and our Member’s dogs are always a part of the fun. Providing an expansive, year-round space for Members and their furry companions, this dog park is more than just a place to let your dog run free — it’s a hub for dog-centric events, socialization, and giving back to local animal rescues.

Bark Park’s 19,500 square feet of dedicated space is designed with both the comfort of dogs and their owners in mind. Featuring areas for both small and large dogs, the park is equipped with dog-class amenities to keep everyone happy. Months of research went into ensuring the space was appropriately sized and equipped with everything needed to provide a fun, safe, and sustainable environment for dogs and their owners.

The park’s extensive features — ranging from agility courses to misters — are designed to keep dogs engaged and comfortable. And with a dedicated, separate space for small and large dogs, pet owners can rest easy knowing their companions are in a safe environment. Shade structures, self-draining dog water stations, dog misters, and water bubblers ensure that the dog park remains enjoyable even on the hottest days.

Sustainable Design with a Focus on Conservation

At Bark Park, we believe in balancing enjoyment with responsibility. The decision to use K9Grass turf was driven not only by its superior drainage capabilities but also by its environmental impact. Standard turf can absorb water slowly, but K9Grass allows water to drain up to 100 times faster, preventing puddles and mud. This sustainable design saves an estimated 717,750 gallons of water each year, making it a win-win for both the park and the community.

A Calendar of Tail-Wagging Events

Doggie Demo Day — Featuring local vendors and volunteer organizations, Desert Mountain-themed merchandise, and mobile dog grooming services.

Howl-o-Ween — Dog costumes take center stage during this festive event, where pups strut their stuff in adorable or eerie outfits for a costume parade. The character-themed camaraderie offers a lighthearted atmosphere that makes it something to howl about.

Santa Paws — Members can enjoy making pawprint ornaments and donating food and toys for a local rescue. The highlight is the photo op with Santa, where pets and owners can capture the magic of the season together.

Whether you’re participating in a themed event, enjoying a peaceful afternoon with your dog, or getting involved in a local volunteer effort, Bark Park is the place to be.

The Bark Park is just one of the many amenities our Members are able to enjoy year-round. If you’ve been looking for a place that not only caters to the lifestyle you want, but also the one your dog deserves, reach out to our Membership team to learn more.
