A Culture Worth Celebrating

We’re usually bashful about tooting our own horn, but today, we can’t help it. Beep, beep! Honk, honk! What better way to celebrate Great Place to Work Week than with a loud, proud, pat on the back, in recognition of earning a 2023 Great Place to Work® Certification™. Great Place to Work® is a 30-year-old company that is considered the global authority on workplace culture. A certification from the company is much sought-after around the world. Desert Mountain aced the test.

“One survey question asks employees to consider whether Desert Mountain is a great place to work,” said Wes Pudwill, the Mountain’s Director of Talent and Culture. “Eighty-six percent of our teammates rated us ‘HIGH.’ Only 59% of employees at other U.S. companies that take the survey rate their companies as a GPTW. We did extremely well, and I’m proud of our results.”

Another telling survey statistic is 94% of Desert Mountain teammates reported they are made to feel welcome when they join the company. “We’ve worked hard at improving our onboarding experience and this proves that our work has paid off,” said Pudwill.
