Follow Your Curiosity
A good book becomes even better when you have someone to discuss it with. The Book Club gives readers a reason to gather, exchange perspectives, and discover what resonates with others. For those whose passions have four wheels, Cars, Cigars & Cocktails invites Members to bring their favorite vehicles, admire the cars on the Mountain, and meet fellow enthusiasts.
Creative connections flourish in the Photography Club, where beginners and experienced photographers share ideas, explore techniques, and find inspiration together. Members can also broaden their horizons through the DM Speaker & Dinner Series or join the Inquisitive Discussion Group for conversations spanning science, art, culture, and current events.
Make Time for Play
Prefer a little friendly competition? Gather around the table for Ladies’ or Men’s Bridge, Canasta, Women’s Poker, or Mah Jongg in a competitive or social setting. These gatherings offer a chance to enjoy a favorite game while getting to know the people across the table.
Our ever-popular Trivia Night adds another way to connect, inviting Members and their guests to tackle questions created especially for the Desert Mountain community.
Share Experiences, Build Connections
For dog lovers, the Bark Park offers a welcoming place to meet other Members and their canine companions. Joining the Dog Park Roster helps the “Yappy Gang” stay connected as new acquaintances become familiar faces.
Wine enthusiasts can explore the Fine Wine Club, sharing their own favorite wines they cellared on their own, some for many years. For world explorers, Members can hop on board exclusive trips that have included past experiences in Vietnam, a golf-and-safari journey in South Africa, and New Zealand, among many others.
Connection also matters during life’s more difficult chapters. The Support Group provides a place for Members experiencing the loss of a loved one to find understanding among others navigating similar emotions.
